NOS Milano

During the Olympic Winter Games, Broadcast Rental provided the connectivity to Hilversum and the technical infrastructure for the MCR, which was specially built for the NOS within the International Broadcast Center (IBC).

In addition, Broadcast Rental was responsible for the NOS studio located at the TeamNL House. Interviews for the evening program "Studio Olympico" were broadcast from this location. Beside the TeamNL studio, a smaller set was also constructed in the short track stadium for the pre- and post-race shows. Both studios were operated via a remote production setup, with the director, audio, and shading all based at the IBC.

On behalf of Broadcast Rental, I assisted with the technical build of the MCR and was responsible for the shading of both studios.

It was a fantastic project that demonstrated the added value of technology, but above all, how rewarding it is to be on the road with a great and driven team.
